http://timestop.zenfolio.comAfter my first bout of exercise following one of the longest and darkest winters in my 41 years, I simply had to stop and say a hearty hello to Luba - the owner of Blondie's diner in Inverhaugh (a 2 min drive from the Elora Gorge)
Breakfast, lunch and fresh baked goods are served almost everyday (closed on Sundays and Mondays) and my advice is to get there early since her diner is actually a country kitchen built as an extension of her house.
You get there, you relax, chat with Luba and the locals and be in no rush for your breakfast - it's the countryside so people move at the speed of the seasons.
She was happy to see me after a number of years absence and I was very glad for the food.
2 Eggs scrambled, Bacon, golden potatoes, white bread with butter and a tall glass of cool water to wash it down.
Ahhhhh....That hit the spot !
