http://timestop.zenfolio.comWhen I came upon this scene, I happened to remember flash advice from Joe McNally's "Hot Shoe Diaries" - particularly about you can use your on board flash to light up against such a strong light as the sun when you have an item in the foreground.
Stopping down at f16 to get the required depth of field in the foreground wound up creating a lovely starburst so I'm very happy with this shot.
