On the morning of September 11th 2010, volunteer students from the Wilfrid Laurier University set themselves up with signs and great spirits on the vicinity of Homer Watson and Pioneer boulevards in Kitchener.

This Shinerama charity drive has a goal of collecting donations in the on-going fight against Cystic Fibrosis - the disease that leaves a great many gasping for each laboring breath everyday of their difficult lives.

With cheers, encouragements and offers of a car wash in some locations, they manage to coax a great many generous donations from motorists and passers by.

I donated money and my talents as a photographer for the second year and felt great about it.

On this day, all these volunteers walking about the K/W ask for is for your spare change - so please give !
