Yours Truly decided to switch lenses while on the beach with my back turned away from the winds.

I absolutely don't recommend this to anyone. A very tricky affair since I had to juggle with my waist satchel full of lenses...So why the switch ?

Packs of shore birds either flying or hovering by close and they were in the perfect sun angle and approach for fly-bys - it was time to switch to my 75-300 mm f4.5 - 5.6 tele-zoom and go long.
