Soul Full Of Stars

They say: "You don't know what you're missing until it's taken away from you."

That's what light pollution does for you at night.

That's what I thought when I saw this beautiful starry night. So clear and crisp with a gentle breeze to caress me awake.

Even with a fast f1.4 50 mm, the minimum exposure time was at least 20-25 seconds at ISO 100. Could not drop the ISO since there would be additional noise in the picture so there it is.

Right - i'm now done with this shot - It's now time to pack the essential survival stuff for the day in a small backpack and my camera stuff in a small waist bag and grab my monopod.

Although, I only had a 5 min drive to the entrance of the park, I had to do it with the high beams on - no street lights - nary a soul around. Nothing moving but for the leaves of the trees waving around in the wind along the way.

While driving with my windows down, I soon realized that I was on an ever narrowing road with people's small cottages (shacks really...) impossibly close to the edge of the road. I also picked up the sound of surf pounding on one side - it was the waves of mighty Lake Erie hitting it's shores.
